The Law and Justice Reform Internship with the Department of Police Accountability in San Francisco, is accepting applications for its Summer 2022 cohort! You can expect to work closely with the investigators and attorneys on projects such as:
Reviewing and analyzing body-worn camera footage.
Researching local, state, and federal laws to inform policy proposals.
Developing department-wide policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Aiding DPA attorneys in all stages of trial preparation (including sentencing and appeals)
Trust us, you won't be doing coffee runs!
Interns have the option to work part-time or full-time and are expected to come into the office at least eight hours a week.
The internship is unpaid, however, summer interns up to the age of 24, may receive a stipend through the Opportunities for All Program which we work closely with. (Note: A separate application is required and selection is not guaranteed).
