Greeting NEBLSA Family:

I am truly grateful to serve as your 2016-2017 Northeast Regional Chair.  As the founding region, NEBLSA has had many dynamic leaders at its helm and I look forward to continuing that legacy.

Last year, under the guidance of Vanessa Domenichelli, we dedicated ourselves to Leaving a Legal Legacy: Fostering Advocacy Through Social Consciousness.  This year we will build on the success of last year by “Honoring our Tradition:  Cultivating Leadership and Engaging our Communities.”

I encourage you to become more active in your local BLSA chapter.  I encourage you to engage community organizations, professional organizations, and politicians in a meaningful dialogue on how we can help bring about positive change for our communities.  I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities provided for you by the region, the national organization, and our partner organizations (including our job fair, academic retreats, networking and volunteer opportunities, and competitions).

This year we want to further cement the great legacy of the Northeast, and that is only possible when you are committed to the mission and vision of NBLSA as a whole.  I look forward to seeing everyone in Boston for our 49th Annual NEBLSA Regional Convention, January 25-29, 2017.

In NEBLSA Solidarity,

Gregory E. Kimble Jr.
