Keyawna Griffith serves as the 2016-2017 Internal Chief of Staff for National Black Law Students Association (“NBLSA”). In this role, she perform duties as assigned by the Chair in furtherance of NBLSA’s mission.
Ms. Griffith is a native of Waldorf, MD. She graduated from the University of Maryland, where she earned a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish Languages and Cultures. While at the University of Maryland, Ms. Griffith served as Co-president of the Black Honors Caucus, Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, secretary of the W.E.B. DuBois Honor Society, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
She is currently a second-year J.D. student at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she is the parliamentarian for the Black Law Students Association and the Marketing Director for the Black Graduate Professional Students Organization. In addition to Ms. Griffith’s organizational leadership, Ms. Griffith has interned at the D.C. Pretrial Services Agency, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington D.C., Hogan Lovells US LLP, and Coburn & Greenbaum PLLC.
